Welcome to The Eleventh Annual Summer Slam; the next event in the Caloosa Tournament Series where anglers will compete for more than $20,000 in cash and prizes including the "Hooters Catch the Big Ones Redfish Bonanza". This is your last chance to qualify for The Caloosa Grand Championship to be held in November.
Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa will once again host all the functions and friends and families can enjoy the wonderful amenities at this great resort.
With one less day of fishing compared to the Caloosa Catch & Release, everyone has a chance to place in the oney and added opportunities for the many specialty categories in cash, prizes and trophies.
Ron Riley, Tournament Organizer, stated that "Last year, this may have been the single best day of overall scoring for one days’ fishing in our history. Over 2,910.5 inches of fish was recorded and only 4 inches separated second from fifth place. Every team that that left the dock scored and the average per team was 100.362 inches."
Bring the family and make this tournament a great time for everyone.
The Eleventh Annual Summer Slam will be filmed by the World Fishing Network in High-Def on September 11 & 12 in during the 20th Anniversary of the Caloosa Tournament Series.
